I come in this morning, and just by the door, in the corridor, is some person just sat there. Much confused looks by fellow staff as they pass this person.

Eventually someone asks why they're sat there. Apparently the building contractors did something to the fire alarm system, and so this person is sitting there LOOKING FOR A FIRE. That's it. There's about 3 of them on rotation all day.

Who says we're suffering from a jobs crisis!!
