Hair styling products for men

CrispinAlexander [Edit] [Delete] 22:11, 19 November '11

when i was a teenager i used to buy those economy tubs of red/yellow/green etc gel that sets your hair like a brick. that worked for me then because the style i wanted was spikes. simple.

but i don't want that anymore. i don't demand much out of my hair, and i can usually make it look decent by running my hands through it a few times in the morning, the only problem is i've realised that doesn't work because within 20 minutes it goes back to looking flat and stupid.

so i dived into the complicated and expensive world of mens styling products and after some research i got pomade. not heavy pomade, like what greasers use, this stuff is supposedly for "messy" casual looks.

so today i used it for the first time. it's not holding anything in place, i just have a load of greasy shit in my hair that smells of orange. i was kind of skeptical that putting wax or basically any styling shit into my hair would not be able to get my desired "casual" look seeing as it's WAX which just makes it heavy and greasy and awful.

i really don't understand if i'm doing something wrong or the whole thing is just a rip off.
