What would and wouldn't you take back?

I had a mini argument with my colleague who bought some moisturiser. The moisturiser was too thin for her liking so she said she was going to take it back at lunch time. This seems ridiculous, right?

I'd take back clothes, shoes and accessories that had fallen apart....but nothing under the value of £10.
