Your place of WORK - how old is it?

Body_In_The_Thames [Edit] [Delete] 09:12, 17 November '11

I mean the building rather than the company but both are interesting I suppose

Do you work in a brand spanking new building or some ancient edifice of historical significance or perhaps some faceless 60s/70s office building ??

Does your company have a long and interesting history? Any notable former employees?

I ask because, after figuring my place of work was roughly 400 years old, yesterday I noticed that it has big wrought iron numbers embedded between the 2nd and 3rd floors on the facade broadcasting the date of construction; 1620. So, 391 years old is close.

The company is 80 years old, Ingmar Bergman used to work here - directing his first 14 plays here in the early 40s

What about YOU? Tell me about your place of work
