Now is the time for governments to start doing some resource redistribution

creakyknees [Edit] [Delete] 19:18, 16 November '11

because they will all be forced at the same time to contemplate their own future and how will they care for their people....they will be faced with stark choices
a) become much more totalitarian
b) sink into the mire of petty anarchy (as opposed to positive anarchy)
c) dismantle the markets and false market vaules by redistributing SOME stuff according to need (I do not mean absolutist redistribution, I mean redressing of the absolutism of the false markets), thus making each individual less reliant upon the state having to support those who need support in the harsh cruel agressive market economics. ((lets face it, there is not physical reason why anyone needs to be sleeping on the streets of the UK, this is a collective cultural choice of our society.))

They will also need to redesign and replan and co-operate more together.

Sounds too big an ask.....well yes of course it is.

Cos THEY left it till the last minute to acknowledge the truth.....i.e. when it is no longer deniable.

A big problem is that the people in power are not particularly able to think outside the systems that created them.

Unfortunately if they do not plan a change but have it foisted on them, then it is likely that those that replace them on the spur of the moment are unlikely to be the best material for making the best of 'THE EVENT'

:D
