It must have been on in the mid-late 90's (somewhere around 97) and basically involved 6 or so (possibly more) different characters who each did their own thing. Basically there was a grid with all the characters in it and when one of them was selected it'd zoom in to which ever one it was who would be beckoning for the camera to come closer...you never knew which one you'd get. One of them was a pseudo-french artist with a moustache, one was a girl with pigtails and stripy tights...can't remember the others...it was pretty random anyway. And live action obviously...think it was on CITV.

Anyone have any idea what I'm on about?
