Another year over. And what have you done? Completed the 3rd season of DiS Football that's what, and surely our most successful year yet, in so many ways. Now is the time to celebrate our ballkicking achievements. And for the first time, we'll have our own private function room to misbehave in.

As has become tradition, awards will be handed out in the following "official" categories:
1. Player of the Year: previous winners jacques_le_biscuit_ (2009) and Edd (2010)
2. Goal of the Season: previous winners prof-kitsch (2009) and meths (2010)
3. Best Newcomer: previous winner JuxtaposedJames (2010)
4. Best Goalkeeper: previous winner eltham (2010)
5. Moaniest Bastard: dan_thw (2009) and dan_thw (2010)
6. Golden Boot: bamos (2009) and dan_thw (2010)
In addition, there will be an unlimited number of the usual "comedy" awards, categories to be suggested at your peril, either in this thread, or in a PM if you want to keep it a surprise.

Voting will start on 28th November, i.e. the day after our last regular match (see below for details of all upcoming games). A full overview of the season with all relevant threads will be posted on that day as well.

Note that the upstairs room at the Bloomsbury Tavern has been booked out for us from 7 PM onwards. The first award will be presented at 8:15 PM sharp(-ish).

The evening is open for all DiSers to attend, regardless if you have played/watched a game or not. If you have never come across the DiS Football team before, this is the time to find out if they are as glamorous, rich, well-spoken and good-looking as their Premier League counterparts.
