Grandad, while admittedly top-banana hatstand senile these days, spent years researching our heritage. It turns out we can make it back all the way to the Viking invaders.

While in the back of my mind the amount of research getting us back to 1066 sounds a little implausible, it all seems legit, and I can grow a good beard so maybe that's proof enough.
