Hi there, god I'm struggling. I'm usually fine with Seamus Heaney, his stuff is alright and quite simple, but I really can't get my head around 'Making Strange' in Station Island. I've searched online too just for a brief description of what the poem is about, but I can't even find a simple synopsis.

Once I know what the main subject is then analysing it will be fine I'm sure. Can anyone put it in simple terms for me just to kick start me - I'm certain that's all I'll need then I can get analysing it.
