My work's offering the chance to buy an iPad with a huge subsidy, so I'm very tempted.

The things is, not sure if it's actually worthwhile. I've got a smartphone for Twitter/FB/casual web browsing, and a laptop for anything else. So I'm slightly concerned that I only want one as it'll be new and shiny and it'll fill the void in my soul for approx. quarter of an hour until buyer's remorse kicks in.

So far the key justification is that I'll be able to use it to read pirated comics, as they're a bit awkward to view on a smartphone. Which doesn't sound like that good a reason to shell out £200.
