We just got one from the council. apparently the flat downstairs isn't happy at the volume of our music.

We're not even very loud - certainly no louder than they've been - and with being proper adults we're usually in bed by 11ish for 730 starts at work on weekday mornings (and weekends in my case).

What's the deal, how much trouble can we get in?

We've lived here 4 years and no one has complained before.
