My old iphone4 got replaced on August 4th due to it being obliterated in leicester square after it was quite frankly thrown by someone onto the pavement....anyway, they gave me the £139 for a new one....lovely.....now the battery life on this one is just awful, I make sure I close down all apps that would usually be running in the background and the screen brightness is down too - I also don't have wifi on. Anyway, it's doing a few other niggly things like sometimes a message comes through and it doesn't vibrate or make a noise.....then other times I go to 'slide the screen open' and it then restarts and the little apple symbol pops up.

If I take this to a genius bar will they replace it for me if what I say is correct?

I don't want to have to go all the way and find out no....i've googled a bit, but response is varied.
