So, I go out last night and have a lot to drink. I mean a lot, I was sick three times. At about 1am I head back to the kitchen with some people, and we have a conversation until roughly 4:30am. During this period, I eat couscous and drink mango juice. I then go to bed.

Woke up at about 10:20am. Had a massive lump in the back of my throat, I think its swollen. It really hurts to swallow. This has never happened before, and don't know whether its a common hangover symptom or something slightly worse.

Worryingly, Yahoo answers, my flatmates and other internet people seem to think it might be tonsillitis. This is the last thing that I need. So I just thought I'd ask the good people of this messageboard if they know anything about this kind of thing. Is it common and nothing to worry about or should I see a doctor?
