Saw this film tonight. Is it out in the UK yet? It pretty much has everything I like in a film. Incredible soundtrack (by a former member of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, inexplicably) with some neat 80s touches in both music and feel (despite being set in the modern day). Has some of my favourite actors being awesome too. Bryan Cranston in particular (is he ever rubbish?) and a masterclass in stoicism from Ryan Gosling.

The Director deserves most of the credit though. What's essentially a big of a hokey script is completely transformed. Probably the best film I've seen this year, and more than makes up for us not getting Tinker Tailor Solider Spy until next year I think.
