Adverts for banks

rogerjones52 [Edit] [Delete] 17:47, 18 September '11

When will this madness end?

When will this trite, saccharine, smug sing-along shite go away?

I don’t want my bank to be best man at my wedding. I don’t want my bank to be at the christening of my first child or my ‘go to guy’ if I’m having some shit-advert induced mental breakdown. I just want a reasonable interest rate on my savings account (LOL) and/or not to be charged £70 for going 30p overdrawn.

This latest one. I think this one might raise the bar even further for ‘worst bank advert ever conceived’ and let’s be honest, that bar is already at tower of Babel heights.

Fronted by the Halifax Community Choir, made up of mortgage advisors and bank cashiers and singing that they’re open on Saturdays.
Problem is, they probably all fuck off before 4pm on a Friday so they can sing out their hearts about working.....in.....a....bank.

All banks should be like THIS
