My boss has offered to pay for me to get a flu jab this year. So far the internet has told me it's a good thing to do (apart from the Daily Mail telling me it's been linked with a killer nervous disease). I'm just wondering if anyone on here has had one before and whether it actually worked?

Another concern is if I get it this year and never again does it lower my immune system and will I be struck down with the ultimate illness next winter?
