Hi, I had two ideas for threads, both involve books so I thought I'd combine them to minimise the pain.

THREAD ONE: How many unread books are on your shelves? At a conservative estimate, I reckon about 50. I am a compulsive book buyer, especially from second-hand shops, and it's got a bit crazy. It also leaves a quandary of what I should read next, so pick for me from this brief selection on the top of the pile:

Confederacy of Dunces
Kennedy: An Unfinished Life
That book about home by Bill Bryson
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenedies
A History of Nazi Literature in the Americas by Robert Bolano
King, Queen, Knave by Vladimir Nabokov

Or pick something else, I might just have it knocking around.

THREAD TWO: The reason for my being between books is I just finished reading the Millennium trilogy. Anyone else read them? Do you think they were better/worse than other airport thrillers? Is that an unfair title? Have you seen the original films? Do you care about the David Fincher film?
