Dave was a close compatriot of Nikki Sudden of swell maps and was the most decadent debauched person I have ever met (I once woke to him shaking me awake going "Barry, here, have some cider" opening my mouth to tip is in some blood dripped from his bleeding gums into my mouth that he was trying to pour cider into......ahhh those were the days.
