could be very excellent if done well, eh? i didn't think it could ever really be filmed, certainly not as a movie, but game of thrones being the best thing ever has given me some confidence that hbo's massive budget could make something special.
the god's original journeys to the US will make bloody great cold openings/interlude bits, especially the mammoth skull one; that chapter is awesome. really can't imagine how they'll do the god fight on screen.
there are plans for 6 series which is a bit weird but gaiman is writing the screenplay & said he may go back and do another novel in that universe. this is a good thing because ANANSI BOYS WASN'T SHIT, IT WAS QUITE GOOD.
