Doctor Who is back on telly soon

vamos [Edit] [Delete] 12:39, 29 March '11

Get excited about it in this thread if you so desire.

Lots of good stuff on the official site recently:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw

Including a 2 minute preview of the next episode, due out at Easter. A friend tells me it may be a double bill too, though I don't know where he read that? I do worry that Moffat is slightly overdoing the scary detached children's voice thing now (Library, gas masks, girl in fireplace) but I'll let it pass.

There's also a fun teaser for BBC America and a link to the superb Comic Relief parody Moffat wrote in 1999.

I've been rewatching the Eccleston series lately. It's very hit and miss, but RTD definitely got all the important stuff right and made you care a lot more about the characters, didn't he? As someone pointed out a while back though, we still need some good, modern day bad guys other than the angels. The slitheen are definitely NOT a keeper.

Best Doctor?

Troughton > Tennant = Smith > T Baker > McCoy > Pertwee > Eccleston > Hartnell > Davidson > C Baker > McGann

Possibly.

As you can tell, I'm a bit bored today...
