Basically Harper Collins are only allowing UK libraries to lend their ewoks 26 times before deactivating them. Their reasoning behind this is that 'real' ewoks get damaged over time and have to be replaced. Ewoks have, in theory, an almost infinite amount of 'lends' and so the publisher has decided to instigate an artificial lifespan in order to force libraries to purchase the ewoks again and again.

Fuck everything about this.
