I don't know if this has been worse in Manchester than most other places. Market Street funnels the shoppers into a slim area where there are usually about 20 charity workers asking for money. They go to silly extents, including walking backwards directly in front of you, and pulling mocking faces in an attempt to make you laugh. Its a tricky issue, because obviously the charities need to make their money, but is it the right way to do it?

I did meet the most beautiful girl once when she was trying to chug me though.
