First, fixtures:

Saturday

Italy V Wales, 2:30pm, BBC 1
England V France, 5pm, BBC 1

Sunday

Scotland V Ireland, 3pm, BBC 2.

I am just absurdly excited about the England game. I can't stop grinning about it. I dreamt about it last night. Chris Ashton cut inside and scored a try from 2 yards out and still managed a swallow dive. What a guy. I immediately think back to the 2007 World Cup semi final when I thing England V France. I don't think I have ever enjoyed a game as much as that in my life.

Predictions please. Will Wales stumble against Italy? Can Scotland manage to win a game? Will Ireland miss Sexton?

Me:

England 23-15 France. Possibly a greater margin if we can hurt them early on, break their confidence and expose their player changes.
Italy 10 - 25 Wales. Early scares for Wales but a comfortable victory in the end.
Scotland 9 - 20 Ireland. Good effort Scotland but still looking devoid of ideas. Don't make it easy for Ireland though.
