Who lives in the countryside? I foolishly thought it would be a great idea.... nice house to rent....cheaper than the cities, lots of lovely hills and walks and....and....then it rains all the time

So im miles from friends and family and no where near anything to do of interest.... except walks but these are a little boring on your own in the rain.

Anyone live AND enjoy living in the sticks?
