i've just ordered a saxophone to give to my girlfriend for her birthday. she used to play it in school but that was over 10 years ago so i'd imagine she'd be back to square one in terms of learning the instrument. however, from the little bits i've read about it, it's believed to be one of the more relatively easier instruments to get to a competent stage with.

does anyone here play the sax? if so, any tips?
