Was talking to some lad earlier who told me he lost his cool last Friday night.

He was out with his mates, one of whom's a bit geeky and not the most confident man in the world. The geeky lad tries it on with a 'fairly average' girl by dancing next to her and trying to speak to her. Eventually she shoves him away and tells him to do one.

Lad telling story then goes over and has a go at this bird, saying she's nothing special and she needs to have a look at herself etc.

I think lad was out of line to do so. If you persist in trying to pull someone when they've made it clear they're not interested, you're setting yourself up for a pasting aren't you?

Or did she deserve it? Should she have taken pity on the chap and given him a bit of time to dance before politely breaking the news that she wasn't much interested?
