Thursday Football Thread

Aston Villa look OK and beat Denmark, Bent and Young score the goals. Wilshere is our new great hope and with him in the team we can reasonably expect to win the World Cup in 2014, for sure. I believe it this time. Fabio Capello says he is in the happy position of having a surfeit of striking options for the England team. This picture is quite ironic: http://i.min.us/icg81c.JPG

Scotland defeat NI easily. The Scotland team doesn't look too bad IMO, would like to see them at a tournament one day soon.

France beat Brazil as Hernanes does a De Jong (http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/hernanes-assault-benzema-%28france-brazil%29-8450780/), Messi defeats Ronaldo, Germany draw with Italy. Mozambique draw with Botswana. Switzerkand held in Malta. Other results, no-one cares.

Boreham Wood squeeze past Farnborough. St Johnstone beat Partick Thistle.

West Ham will get the Olympic stadium and their fans can look forward to bearing 100 meters from the pitch or whatever it is.

Charlie Adam confirmed as having 9 yellows, one away from a 2 match ban. Fantasy Football fans wince.

Hughton for West Brom. Decent for both parties.
