(500)days of summer.

i've waged a merry war against this film since i saw it at the cine-box, and, at any oppertunity, i would take great delight in telling you how awful it was. whenever i put the always copious ammounts out at work, i do so with a sneer at all the bummers that will buy it and like it 'cause they're stupid and like rubbish films.

anyway. i watched it on telly and it's ok. it's too accurate and (sometimes) funny/charming with nice performances to hate. it has some bad moments, but...on the whole...it's alright. the split-screen bit with 'expectations' and 'reality' really is good.

i'm putting this down to the fact that i saw this film on orange wednesday and probably felt put off by being surrounded by people and unwilling to share this sort of film, so i automatically turned to hate.

anyway. what films have you recently, or ever, had a quite big change of opinion towards on a subsequent viewing.
