i'm having the family over on sunday and i've decided to make a fuck load of curries. my basic menu is thus:

a load of starters
1 chicken dish
1 lamb/beef dish
2 veg dishes
1 dal ish type thing
maybe something else
perhaps some bread based patty/naan type ensemble

i've got a few ideas but i havent found any recipes that jump right out at me yet. pretty sure i'm going to have make a korma-y thing cos my mum is such a poose when it comes to hot things. it'd be good to hear some mild recipe ideas from you guys. also some good starter ideas, perhaps involving fish?

please dont post whole recipes, just the basic idea behind some dishes.
