Historic victory for the Blues, first in over a year.

It was definitely deserved, both teams played very well in patches but the Blues felt harder to break down - we always seemed to be hitting them on the break, whereas there were a few occasions where the Blues were camped in the final third. I thought we were a bit unlucky to be 2-0 down at half-time, and when it went to 2-1 I honestly thought we were going to equalise, but Ben's goal killed it. Probably the best post-Zonino match we've ever had, even if it took a while to get going.

Man of the Match - Ben, I'd say. James and meths both ran a lot of the play in midfield, but the Blues always had the option of kicking it near Ben and seeing what happened.

Couldn't pick an MVP for the Reds, lots of good performances. Mark had a great stint in goal and Jim lying on his back, flicking the ball up then kicking it over his head was a definite highlight.
