I'm busy with Rebecca Skloot's The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks which is somewhere between extremely light pop science and biography.

It's about a woman who without her knowledge had cells taken from her while being treated for cancer and the way in which those 'immortal' cells have kept multiplying since then and have been used to develop all kinds of vaccines and medical treatments. and how her family never found out and never received any compensation for her saving the world. Something like that.

It's surprisingly interesting for a television book club selection.
