What do you make of it?

There's too strong an English / Premier League bias I feel, and it's odd to see players like until-recently-injured Frank and horribly off-form Rooney up there, but their first halves of 2010 were both super strong so fair enough. By contrast, Bale and Van der Vaart are both new at #31 and #42 respectively - had they shown their level of form throughout the entire year as opposed to since the new PL started, no doubt they'd be top 20.
