Guitarists: Advice pleaseee.

russtyeh [Edit] [Delete] 21:29, 9 January '11

So i've been playing on a classical for a wee while and want to make the step up to an electric.
I am willing to spend around £250 tops.

Is there any that would be more familar to me having played a classic?
Also do some guitars hold alternate tunings better than others? As i would like to try out more. Currently my classical struggles with most things outside of standard.

Some i am looking at are:
Burns Cobra
Danelectro Dead On 67
and various Squiers

Recommend whatever else or advise pleaasee?
Also any amp recommendations?

Has to be noisy.
Cheers.
