So I'm planning on visiting Russia this year, even though it looks like my friend is going to have to drop out I still want to go.

Will probably go to Moscow being the capital and all that so just wondering if anyone has been and what would they recommend doing there. Also are there any other places worth visiting that are fairly close that you can get a train too?
