Some advice for a friend please

chris-budget [Edit] [Delete] 14:06, 6 January '11

hello all.

i have this friend who is in a bit of a predicament.
He used to be a professional golfer until last year, pretty much has dedicated the last 15 years of their life to trying to make it, didn't go to uni, stayed living at home to try and make it work, has done really well, travelled the world playing in competitions and won a few etc, but never broke through into the tiny percentage that make it a feasible way to make a living. Anyway - it got to a kind of 'enough is enough' situation last year and he stopped doing the golfing. So now he is at home with the folks with a totally lack of direction at the wrong end of his twenties.
what should he do?
he doesn't want to do anything to do with golf - he kinda needs some time away from that i think ( its a ll a little raw y'know)

any ideas?
