Don't mean to lump them all together but cor blimey what a bunch of insular fuckers.

This is prompted by spending New Years Eve in a pub called Waxy O'Connors in Glasgow. I had no idea before I arrived that it was a night soundtracked by 'Rock Radio'. So the whole night I had to listen to a mix of cock rock/hair metal and some harder stuff. Fucking excrutiating. This prompted me to muse why so many rawk/metal fans only seem to be interested in one type of music. I can't think of anything worse than spending a whole night listening to one type of music. I don't think I heard a single song that involved a synthesiser all night. It was just guitars, drums and screaming all fucking night.

Add to this the fact that when I got back to the hotel with my wife some cunt in a room next to us was listening to shite very loud happy hardcore until 9am. I got about half an hour of peace and quiet before I had to get dressed and check out.
