Ladies and Gentlemen of the DiS, I have an ethical dilemma and a grievance.

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 11:02, 23 December '10

My grievance is this thread disappeared. My ethical dilemma is as follows:

I live in a flat above a bookshop. There's a stairway leading to the two flats above the bookshop on which I found a tenner which may, or may not, be mine and may, or may not, be the guy in the other flat's. I don't want to lose a tenner if it is mine but I don't want to steal someone else's tenner either so what do I do? Keep it or leave it for him to find and keep? What's the ethical etiquette here? Money in a shared communal space is different to money on the street isn't it?

Happy festivus anyway!
