I've had this light blue V neck jumper for ages, used to wear it out a lot at university a few years back until one night I spilt virtually a whole bottle of red wine over it, stains all over, but one huge one that simply wouldn't come out after three or four washes, leaving a kind of dark yellowish permanent stain down one side of the front.

It rendered it totally unusable in a public situation, so I stuck it at the back of a draw with the intention of perhaps using it as a round the house lounging jumper in the winter, but had forgotten about it until now, this is perhaps three or four years at the back of a draw we are talking about.

Due to being a bit lazy (and wearing a lot of layers) over the last couple of weeks, I had more or less run out of clothes as I hadn't done any washing, so I rifled through my drawers to find something to put on to keep me warm this evening.

So I pull out this jumper, and I'm not joking, the stain has totally disappeared. Cannot find a trace on it.

It is absolutely 100% the same jumper, and when I last saw it I am 100% sure it had a huge red wine stain on the front.

Is there some sort of scientific explanation for this, or have I just experienced a Christmas miracle?
