Im working away from home in manchester, yesterday I had dreadful flu, today the pain seems to have left my bones and muscles, but is now in my balls.

Today peeing is incredibly painful, plus cloudyness and now some blood.....a UTI.....

I go to boots to ask what can be done, they advise I go to walk in centre in 'the Forum Wythenshaw' I do so.....they say they have nurses but that they can only treat women (sexism? I cant see why, i dont think they need to examine i would just need to pee in a cup surely?)

They then advise me to try the two 'doctors surgeries that are about 10 yards away' I queue up at each, the first one tells me that there is no hope as they only have one doctor on, the second tell me that they cant, but that I should ask my gp to fax the prescription (signed) to one of the dispensing chemists near there.

I phone up my GP and they tell me that they cant fax it there because of security.

HOW the FUCK can people be expected to navigate the NHS procedures if the people employed in the administration dont know the procedures?

I am really cross because I was expecting to give a sample so I had had a bit to drink (because its less painful that way) unfortunately another consequence of uti's is that you need to go more, so waiting in 3 queues was agony

Im really fucking cross......
