Soooo... I applied for a 12 month Working Holiday Visa on Monday, which was approved on Tuesday, and I have flights booked for 4th January 2011.

I reckon i'm gonna be living in either Auckland or Wellington for much of my time there, stayin' pretty much on the beaten track, but will be going off on the odd adventure here and there and do a bit a travelling up and down.

Do any DiSers live over there? Or has anyone been? I've been reading all kinds of stuff on the internets about shit to do there, but I quite like reading this board and the nonsense people talk upon it, so thought i'd start a thread and see if anyone has any tales, tips, hints and all that.
