smoking flashback trauma

nice_squirrel [Edit] [Delete] 18:05, 16 August '05
I gave up smoking 3 1/2 years ago. Before that, I smoked about 2-3 cigarettes a day for 3 years, but it went up to about 10 a day just before I decided to give up.

Bizarrely, today, I am desperate for a cigarette. This has never happened before. Nothing bad has happened to me today, I'm not unusually stressed or unhappy. I'm trying to stave off the craving with chocolate at the moment, but it isn't really going away.

Has anyone else ever had this happen? What should I do?
