If you've been watching the news today, you have proberly seen that the RSPCA are asking for new laws in relation to animal rights. Although alot of you proberly won't take any interest in this thread, I am just wondering why people have animals if they're going to cut their ears off and do other disgusting things. I don't get why people on here think it's smart to boast about putting gerbils in the microwave etc etc (in past threads). You would think it's the minority of people subjecting animals to cruelty, yet the RSPCA estimates that over 20,000 animals are suffering. So, are we a nation of animal lovers?
