I am all in favour of religion being mocked and ridiculed. Religion is an insult to human intelligence and should be made fun of at every opportunity.

However, that isn't what Gibbons was doing. She named the bear Mohammed because she's ignorant. She's thick and stupid.

She's a teacher of young children in a country with a known reputation for stringent adherence to a particular interpretation of Islamic teaching. How the fuck does she, and her employer, not know that calling a toy Mohammed would be problematic?

She isn't some soppy middle-class student from the closetted suburbs taking "a year out" to teach English as a foreign language; she is 54!!! How could she reach that age and be so dumb?

Her "ignorance" and "innocence", of which we have heard so much, is a sad indictment of a general level of crass stupidity and ignorance in Britain.

Fuck the religious bigots who stuck her in jail, but fuck her too - she's an idiot.
