I know there is still snow is nestling beneath suburban hedgerows and days of reasonable heat are a long time away, but i believe the key to having a good summer is to be prepared - That way your less likely to end up sitting around watching 1:30 neighbours and eating boxes of cereal day after day.

I suppose the most obvious thing to do is to go on holiday, a crazy expedition round europe would be pretty ace, but would probably end up costing an arm or a leg. What sort of holidays do you guys like? Im guessing most of us arent the Ayia Napa types.

For those of us preparing for a long time spent in the motherland what passtimes can u suggest? I think i have 10 weeks off or something ridiculous like that and i think i'm going to have to occupy myself to stay sane.
