whilst tucking into a lovely roast dinner with my family at my step grandparentals house i said something about how i wish someone had a cute little toddler i could be friends with only to be told that my big brother alex is a daddy!
several minutes of 'yeah right haha everyone!' before they properly explained that hisgirlfriend rachel (who i still havent met) has a 2 year old and a 5 year old and they've just moved in together!

well bugger me!

i can't believe i know so little of my own brother. this has really made me think "shit, i should call once in a while"

im in contact and close with the next eldest brother alistair, we do tuesday fun club with the boys (well i do when im home)
im close to both my sisters, we call each other and talk on msn while im at uni. me and my big sis go out together and i do stuff with the babe too.

it upsets me to know i hardly know my dad really. i know hat he's about but i dont 'know' him. if that makes any sense?
