Photography for dummies

Marlvrum [Edit] [Delete] 21:39, 4 April '07

Not necessarily for dummies, I guess, as I’ve been taking pictures properly for a few years now. I have a pretty good digital SLR (about £450), I know how to take a reasonable picture (I’m especially interested in landscape and concert), I know about light, angles, shadow etc etc….and all that. What I’m interested in learning about it all this stuff to do with different lenses, filters, and all that? Does that make sense to anyone? Just now it’s just me and my camera. I like the pictures I get, but I must be missing out on adding to their awesomeness. Are there filters and lenses that enhance your pictures? If so, what are the best? How much should I be spending? Is there anything else you’d suggest? I know there are some people ‘in the know’ on here, so your help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
