Was out seeing Sebadoh last night. I was the only photographer during support. When the singer was introducing the band he mentioned that the guitarist was from Glasgow. I was wondering where and guessed Shawlands. Said hello at end when he was clearing up and he turned out to be a friend who I hadn't seen in about ten years. He said that during their set he was looking down at me and going 'that guy is the double of cadd who I haven't seen in ten years, I'm playing a gig in New York and he's standing taking photos of me' and that he had to just shut it out of his mind because he couldn't deal with it at the time

When walking through New York with the iPod on shuffle bands like The New York Dolls and Ramones keep coming on. I think I'm having some kind of religious experience :p
