A conversation with someone earlier lead me to recall the following things...

1. The time an ex-girlfriend asked me if the lady from Big Breakfast was Ben Elton's daughter. You know, Denise Ben Elton.

2. Playing Pictionary with another ex-girlfriend and, when the subject was geography, her drawing me a camel. I went through all of the geographical locations I could think of that you would associate with a camel, only to find out at the end she was drawing the Suez Camel.

3. In the same day, the same girl watching a music video that featured Halle Berry mouthing the words to a song that Fred Durst was singing, and remarking "She sounds like a bloke".

4. In a room full of friends watching Interview With A Vampire, a friends girlfriend asking after about an hour of the film "I thought Tom Cruise was in this?"
