last night on the h&c line.

there were two women, who didn't know each other, sitting opposite me. they were both reading a paper.

one, was young - a 'typical' camden-esque type, wearing large DMs with black leggings and a red coat etc. but not as extreme as a cyberdog shopper.

the other, quite a large old lady, who looked like a bitch.

the old lady started shifting around in her seat uncomfortably, and giving nasty looks to the girl beside her, rolling her eyes. the girl obviously thought she was elbowing her or something, and moved her elbow/coat/everypartofher away from this old woman - nothing was touching her. anyway, the old woman kept on doing this same thing. i was staring at them in vague bewilderment, as the old woman was rolling her eyes at me, trying to get me to acknowledge her annoyance, i just looked at her with a slightly 'what the fuck is your problem' face.
then she started tutting and moving and shifting again, and the girl just got up and moved to the other side of the carriage.

then a young asian guy got on and sat beside her, which was ok for a bit, then she started doing the same thing. THEN he started talking in punjabi/hindi/urdu/notsure on the phone - and i swear, the woman, it was like he'd stabbed her. she kept tut tutting him and then got up and stood by the door, constantly looking at him and muttering things to herself. THEN she stood round in front of him staring and muttering at him.

i just gave him a look of sympathy/she's a nutter and then just talked to the blind dude beside me.

people are........ fucking weird.
