Arm control

bamos [Edit] [Delete] 12:13, 29 March '07

Yesterday I was in town, and happened to be on an escalator, heading downwards, behind a lady.

As we disembarked from the escalator, I made a slight step to the left to walk around the woman towards my intended destination. However, there was someone slightly blocking my way, and my move was not as far to the left as I'd intended. This disatrous situation was then compounded as the woman in front of me started walking away. Well, I say walking. I mean marching, and swinging her arm back past her body by a good two feet. Due to her height and reach, her clenched fist smacked me straight in the balls.

Not only did she not stop and apologise, she was pumping her arm so quickly that she only narrowly avoided doing it again, before the pain of the situation forced me to take a time-out at the edge of the passageway we were in and gather my breath.

Why do people do that super-thrusty-arm-marchy-thingy? Can't people walk normally anymore, and avoid whacking innocent young men in the danglers? Erm. Anyone got a good 'I was hit in the balls by a daft bint' story? Or anything walking related? At all?
